After receiving this kit about 3 weeks ago from HLJ i finally got around to building it. I have added a few panel lines and painted all the blues, yellows and reds to make them more vibrant. I must say i wasn't really into Gunpla (term used to describe Gundam modeling) but now i have really gotten into it and ordered a few more kits that i have also received and will start building them soon (you can see on the side panel of this blog the kits i'm currently building or a still waiting to be built).

Please feel free to comment or give suggestions on how i can improve my Gundam modeling.
You may have noticed my post earlier and seen this figure in the photo. I just purchased this before Christmas and was surprised to see it arrive in time.. you just gotta love buying yourself Xmas pressies.. you will always get what you want. :)
Back to the figurine. This here is the Orchid Seed's (Good Smile Company) version of 1/7 scale Ignis. There has been 3 other companies that have produced her. One is Alter and another is Max Factory and finally BOME (Kaiyodo). The Orchid version is the only version to date that has a changeable cloth on the eyes (breasts). There are 2 versions. 1 which covers the nipples and the other which exposes the nipples (pictures below explain it better).

I recently purchased this Tandem Twins figurine called Lynx from HLJ. She is 1 of 3 coloured versions, Topaz (Lynx), Sapphire (Ruby with a tattoo of a flame on her back) and Amethyst (not sure of the name but she is blue and has a funky eye patch). All of them have the same look just different coloured hair and tops (if you want to call two strands of cloth tops). Oh and the top is removeable ;)
I ordered Mariko Imai along with Mizuki from Tsukasa Bullet. I was surprised to see Mariko arrive today though disappointed that Mizuki was not with her. Looks like Mizuki will be on backorder for some time. Nether the less Mariko will have her buddy soon. She is nicely detailed and has a very nice set of eyes. ;) Enjoy.
Title says it all.. i blame WoW for my lack of updates recently. I have just started playing WoW (World of Warcraft) again after about 4-5 months off and now im addicted again.. sigh. If you wanna hook up in WoW with me or just to say hi then you can find me on the following servers;
I am aiming to lvl up Oniichan (frostmourne server) to 60 in 5 days played time however i think this may become 6-7 days due to helping a few in game friends with quests. At the moment im at 3 days 2 hours. Which is not my best as i have done 1-35 in just under 2 days played time. If you have any tips or would like to share your fastest times then be sure to post your then. ^_^
Opened this up today and i must say if you have ever brought a figure and have taken it out of the box then you will know of the pain of taking of the cable tie thingos from them. Well with most figures it isnt and issue but i must say with the GFF series as you get so many different weapons, hands, body, etc.. there are just soooo many cable ties in there.. its a royal pain in the butt to get all the pieces out.. took me almost 1 hour.. lol
Anyway back to the Crossbone figure.. the detail is pretty good but is smaller then i thought.. you can do some fairly decent poses so is well worth the money even though they are not that expensive to begin with.. they are around AU$43 each. Here are a few photos..
I have almost finished my Giroro Robo injection kit i received this week. Here are some pictures below.. i still have to add more detail to the weapons and the back. Ill post some finished pictures later on... but for now enjoy these..
Postman delivered these.. GFF #0031 Crossbone Gunam X-3, MG 1/100 F91 and F91 Blue, Giroro Robo injection kit, Hobby Japan Jan edition, Figure Maniacs Autumn 2006 and some craft tools. Looks like ill be busy during December ^_^
I came back from the Hunter Valley about 1 week ago but have been busy with work and playing around with my new camera (which you can see in the posts below). I must say i am very pleased with the results the lens and this camera are giving. This isnt a review or anything of the sort just sharing some photos i took of a flower down at the Hunter Valley Gardens and some pictures of Sydney Harbour and the Opera house at night that i took from the window of the Four Seasons Hotel. Ill get around to posting a proper review of the camera some time soon i hope.. but for now enjoy these photos..
Im going this weekend to the Hunter Valley (2-3 hours from Sydney) its known for its wine tasting vineyards. Although im not into wine im going down there just to get away from it all and most likely go to the chocolate factory down there as i have one heck of a sweet tooth.
Ill be taking down my new camera so i plan to take quite a few shots which i will post when i get back and ill also get around to doing a review on the camera too.
Have a great weekend all and see you when i get back.
Thats right my Canon EOS 30D arrived today. Ill post some pictures and my thoughts on it later. As for now im going to play around with it a little bit to get used to it.
I ordered a new Digital SLR camera over the weekend as im really getting into digital photography and to all those out there that do photography i know the most important thing when it comes to the quality of your photos is that it doesn't come from the camera but the lens itself. Hence the reason ill get an L telephoto and an L macro lens when my finances allow me.. So this is what i have ordered so far.
Canon EOS 30D body with a EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens. Some pictures below of the camera and lens i have ordered. Once i get the camera (sometime next week i hope as that depends on customs) ill post some pictures of it. Ah i cant wait to get my hands on it... so excited!! ^_^
Thats right its completed!!.. i finally completed it today... oh and the panel lines will come once i get my fine marker pen.. but its finally built so here is a few shots..
The backpack... With the Oxtongue Gun.. The pose Here is a scale shot of the 1/144 Weibritter compared to a Master Grade 1/100 Gundam injection kit...
I started making this 1/144 scale injection kit by Kotobukiya about 1 week ago which i ordered from hlj.com (Hobby Link Japan). The model is of WeiBritter from an Anime series known as Super Robot Wars. Im new to making models so you may find them to be a bit messy and if you have any hints and tips for me to improve then be sure to tell me. ^_^. The only tools im using are a modeling knife which is very sharp mind you (found out the hard and painful way).. some gundam markers and 400-1000 grit finishing sandpaper. Im going to do some panel lines on it once i receive my fine black maker pen... Hopefully this will be finished tomorrow and i can post its final picture.
Today is the day i started this blog so it empty at the moment but hopefully ill fill it up in no time. Ill be posting about my latest Anime figures/Models, Anime series im watching, any concept designs im working on and hope you all will give me some feed back to help me improve.. Well thats it for now so i hope you can find something your looking for here..
I'd call myself a tru gamer. One who is not bias on any game whether im a fanboy of the game or not.
My aim here is to give you all unbiased game reviews.
I am however a hardcore gamer so most game reviews will be aimed at the hardcore players. Unfortunately there will be some restrictions. Most of the games will be PS3 and PSP games as i only own these systems at the moment.
